Hindalco Industries Ltd has strengthened its presence in India’s premium building solutions market with the launch of Eternia’s flagship Experience Centre in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, alongside the expansion of its manufacturing capabilities through a new facility in Bilaspur, Gurugram. The move forms part of the company’s strategy to accelerate growth in the high-performance aluminium window systems segment and cater to increasing demand for engineered, system-based building solutions across residential and commercial developments.
Eternia has emerged as one of the fastest-growing brands in the category, recording nearly 65 percent compound annual growth over the past three years. The company aims to surpass ₹1,000 crore in revenue by FY2029, supported by expanding market demand, a growing partner network, and investments in manufacturing and innovation.
India’s windows and façade market is estimated at approximately ₹40,000 crore, with premium offerings witnessing strong growth as homeowners, architects, and developers increasingly prioritize performance, durability, aesthetics, and sustainability. Hindalco believes this trend is creating significant opportunities for precision-engineered aluminium systems that deliver consistent quality and long-term value.
At the core of Eternia’s product range is Duranium™, a patented aluminium alloy designed to provide greater strength and durability than conventional aluminium window systems. The products undergo extensive third-party testing and comply with both global performance benchmarks and Indian standards. The company’s proprietary WiWA scoring framework further assists customers in selecting window systems suited to diverse climatic and structural requirements.
Commenting on the development, Satish Pai, Managing Director of Hindalco Industries Ltd, said the company sees significant potential in providing engineered solutions to India’s evolving construction sector. “Eternia represents a transition from conventional fabrication-led products to precision-engineered window systems designed to meet the requirements of modern architecture. Through innovation, manufacturing excellence and material science, we are creating solutions that deliver superior performance and reliability,” he said.
To support future growth, Hindalco has established a 120,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Bilaspur with a monthly production capacity of up to 250,000 square feet of windows. The facility is strategically positioned to serve North India and improve delivery responsiveness across key markets.
In addition to manufacturing, the facility includes a dedicated research and development centre and a training institute focused on enhancing industry skills. The project is expected to create employment opportunities for more than 300 people while strengthening local industrial capabilities.
